Technical Analyst, Benefit Payments Pension Administration
Montreal, Quebec
Permanent Position

 
Responsibilities:

  • Receive, examine and process documents received for benefit payments;
  • Finalize the calculations with respect to retirement, termination, divorce and death;
  • Process cases of deaths (payment of survivor/beneficiary pension, collection, tracing members, etc.);
  • Process off-cycle payment requests;
  • Be responsible for the coding deferred pensions;
  • Respond to the needs of clients and trustees;
  • Respond to standard written requests (first do any research required);
  • Act as a resource person for the Call Centre;
  • Check data reports and apply corrective measures.

To be successful in the position of Technician, Benefit Payments, you will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Have a college diploma in office administration and/or relevant work experience;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and comfortable with computers and software;
  • Very meticulous and committed to doing the job right;
  • Good team spirit;
  • Bilingual, spoken and written.
