What will your typical day look like?

As a Consultant, Guidewire Insurance Suite Business Analyst in our Asset Factory Team within our Consulting Practice, we are looking for qualified professionals with knowledge in the Insurance industry that has delivery and transformation experience in Guidewire Insurance Suite to join our InsurCloud Managed Services Team. We work with a diverse group of clients around the world to help them to create competitive advantages, build innovative technology solutions and drive business outcomes for our clients. Specifically, you will:

  • Provides tier 2 incident management, application support, trouble shooting and monitors issues until resolution to determine impacts resulting from issue.
  • Develops and executes simple SQL scripts to resolve production issues and create reports.
  • Develops and maintains productive working relationships with client personnel while building strong internal relationships within the Managed Services Team and with our business partners
  • Able to provide root cause analyze when troubleshooting system issues and identify, capture and escalate all risks.
  • May coordinate maintenance release schedule and approval process with Release Management, development staff, Business System Analysts, and customers.
About the team

Our Asset Factory Team is comprised of a collaborative team of experts who use their hands-on experience with cutting-edge information assets to facilitate successful development and commercialization of assets. Our team, designs, builds, manages and delivers innovative technology and data assets to address clients' needs with disciplined focus on business outcomes.

You will be part of a team that works together to provide 24x7 support for our customers, so we expect you to take turns with your teammates being on-call for after-hours production emergencies.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

You are someone with:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field with 6+ years’ experience. Preferred Certification(s) : Guidewire functional certified in PolicyCenter, BillingCenter and /or ClaimCenter, Agile Certification; ITIL V3 or V4 Certification or equivalent experience in ITIL principles and processes
  • Detailed knowledge of Guidewire applications, including ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter and/or BillingCenter.
  • Experienced at gathering, defining, and organizing business and functional requirements including acceptance criteria for use by developers to implement a functionality
  • Eliciting requirements and scope using client interviews, shadowing, document review, surveys and translating client requirements into standard UML diagrams and/or Agile user stories
  • Entrepreneurial attitude with a desire to be part of a new & innovative team
