Your future role on our team
Your role as a process engineering technician (chemical engineering) will consist of participating in the elaboration of industrial process drawings and lists, as well as participating in the development of various technical deliverables. In addition, you will ensure quality of service and maintain good relations with internal customers by contributing to projects relating to the Advanced Fuels and Chemicals, Energy and Oil & Gas sectors.

  • 2D drawing of various process drawings (BFD, PFD, P&IDs)
  • Participate in the design of PFDs and P&IDs
  • Help prepare line lists, instrument lists, mechanical equipment lists with process data
  • Perform consistency checks on deliverables (e.g. drawings and lists
  • Support the development of 2D AutoCAD / CadworX blocks
  • Participate in the development of equipment and instrument data sheets
  • Occasionally coordinate the work of draftspersons or other non-professionals at the request of an experienced engineer.

Overview of certifications and job requirements

  • Technical degree in chemical engineering (process engineering) or relevant experience
  • Three or more years' experience
  • Fluent in French, both spoken and written
  • Functional in English
  • Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office suite, Excel, databases and interfaces
  • Asset : Fluent in English, both spoken and written
  • Asset: Experience in the heavy industry sector (mining, petrochemicals, energy, etc.)
  • Asset: Knowledge of CADwork and BlueBeam applications
