On-balance Sheet Product Manager- AVP
About the role
The Global Deposit & Investments (D&I) product group is responsible for product strategy, development and commercialization for On Balance Sheet Deposit/Overdraft and Off Balance Sheet short term investment solutions. Currently the group manages solutions including Interest Bearing and Non-Interest Demand Deposit Accounts, Global Pricing Engine, Client Money Accounts, DACA/Pledge Accounts, Fixed and Extended Term Deposits, Earnings Credit Rate Accounts, Citi Interest Optimization and Online Investments Money Market Funds across 90+ markets where TTS operates. The On-balance Sheet Product manager (AVP) will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day product strategy and management of the existing product portfolio including Time Deposits, Minimum Maturity Time Deposits, Earnings Credit, Overdrafts, Segregated accounts (e.g., client money), and Collateral Accounts (e.g., pledged). Responsibilities: Support Product Lifecycle: Assists in governance processes for timely product approval and launches, including legal diligence and operational readiness. Helps manage New Activity Proposals and coordinates ongoing product reviews (e.g., time-based, event-driven). Contributes to understanding market dynamics, user needs, and competitive landscape, informing product decisions from a control perspective. Contribute to the daily management of all on-balance sheet products (e.g., time-deposits, earnings credit, overdrafts, etc.) Facilitate Control Framework Adherence: Supports the effective execution and continued adherence to the Manager’s Control Assessment (MCA) framework. Assists in maintaining the quality, completeness, and accuracy of the Control Framework's implementation across relevant Risk and Control Programs. Prepare Governance Forum Materials: Prepares and consolidates comprehensive materials for global risk and control forums and related governance bodies, aiding in strategic discussions. Supports risk-related reporting and escalation processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Contribute to Risk & Issue Management: Provides support for risk assessments of new and existing products, assisting in identifying potential issues and control gaps. Assists in identifying root causes of control issues and tracking remediation efforts. Support Process Improvement & Reviews: Helps identify and support the delivery of process improvements to enhance the control environment. Provides support for internal and external exams and review activities, assisting in coordinating evidence and responses.
