We are recruiting on behalf of a growing brand name Canadian company, headquartered in Brampton, ON. They are seeking a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) who thrives in a progressive environment supporting both new and ongoing initiatives in a diverse role. Key responsibilities and oversight: Deliver full cycle of corporate reporting processes, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting. Ensure compliance with IFRS standards and support internal and external audit requirements. Maintain and improve general ledger accuracy, reconciliations, and financial controls. Support treasury and cash management activities. Assist in process improvement initiatives, leveraging ERP and Excel to reduce manual work and enhance efficiency. Support SOX compliance activities and control testing Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial reporting projects and system enhancements. Leverage technology and AI to improve processes

The successful candidate will possess the following: CPA designation - ideally trained at a major public accounting firm or in a larger corporate environment IFRS knowledge and ERP systems experience. Demonstrated ability to own key accounting processes independently. Excellent communication skills and solid comprehension. Adaptability to change and ambiguity. Self-starting attitude with strong prioritization skills. Proven ability to contribute to process improvements.
