Job Title: Business Systems Analyst (Banking) Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
Job Description: We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst with strong Banking domain experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements. Key Responsibilities: Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements. Work with business users, product owners, and technical teams to define solutions. Create Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), process flows, and user stories. Conduct gap analysis and impact assessments for new initiatives and system changes. Support SIT, UAT, and production implementation activities. Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and requirement sessions. Collaborate with development, QA, and project teams throughout the SDLC. Assist with defect triage, issue resolution, and change management activities. Required Skills: 8+ years of Business Systems Analysis experience. Min 6+ Years of Banking. Strong Banking or Financial Services domain experience. Experience gathering and documenting business and system requirements. Experience creating BRD, FRD, user stories, use cases, and process flows. Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Preferred Banking Experience: Retail Banking Commercial Banking Payments (Wire, ACH, SWIFT, ISO 20022) Lending/Mortgages Deposits Cards and Digital Banking Tools: JIRA Confluence Visio MS Office Suite SQL (nice to have)
