Role: Sr. UX Designer + Business Analyst (Hybrid Role) Location: Canada - Remote
Job description: We are seeking a highly skilled UX + Business Analyst (Hybrid Role) who can bridge the gap between user experience design and business analysis. This role requires a strong ability to translate business needs into intuitive, user-centric solutions while ensuring alignment between business stakeholders and technical teams. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in UX design, user research, requirements gathering, and solution validation, along with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Description UX Design Responsibilities
Understand product specifications, business needs, and user requirements. Conduct user research and create user personas, journey maps, and usability insights. Design wireframes, prototypes, and interaction models aligned with user needs. Collaborate closely with UI designers to deliver visually appealing, intuitive interfaces. Define and evaluate interaction design frameworks and usability success metrics. Identify and solve UX challenges including usability, accessibility, and findability. Communicate design concepts and prototypes effectively to developers and stakeholders. Ensure consistent and seamless end-to-end user experience across platforms. Use tools like Figma (or equivalent) to create design assets and prototypes.
Business Analyst Responsibilities Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT/IS teams. Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements. Conduct gap analysis and translate findings into actionable insights. Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews. Ensure business needs are clearly understood and translated for technical teams. Participate in solution design, validation, and system walkthroughs. Collaborate with UX teams to incorporate usability and UI considerations into system design. Support project delivery through reviews, documentation, and process alignment. Develop reports that convert business data into clear, actionable insights. Required Technical & Domain Skills
Strong understanding of: Business Analysis principles and best practices Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies Working knowledge of: Programming concepts Relational databases Client-server architecture Basic to intermediate knowledge of: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Proficiency in: UX tools (Figma preferred) Documentation tools and visualization techniques Core Competencies

Written Communication Ability to clearly and concisely document requirements and insights. Tailor communication for different audiences using structured formats, visuals, and diagrams.
