Systems and Project Manager (Remote)

The Systems and Project Manager is a senior individual contributor in CashForCars, reporting to Direct Buy Portal Manager. The position bridges business operations, technology, analytics, marketing, and project execution. The role requires strong systems knowledge, excellent communication, disciplined follow-through, and the ability to translate business needs into clear technical and operational action.
Tasks • Serve as the business-side hub for high level active technology issues impacting CashForCars operations reported by fellow management or supervisor level employees. • Track open tickets, upcoming enhancements, system issues, and project priorities through Jira and Confluence. • • Maintain CashForCars-related drip campaigns. • Support use and coordination of Salesforce, MiCom, Calabrio, and AI tools including GPT, Gemini, and Claude. • Contribute to MBR and QBR preparation and attend those meetings as a supporting business analytics and systems expert resource. • Identify process gaps, system limitations, automation opportunities, and workflow improvements and assist in execution of instituting necessary changes. • Provide clear, proactive updates to stakeholders on risks, status, dependencies, and next steps. • Oversee an office coordinator/administrative assistant employee in handling of minor day to day tech issues when needed for escalation.
Qualifications and requirements • Strong experience working across business operations, systems, stakeholders, and project teams. • Ability to translate complex operational needs into clear business requirements, user stories, documentation, and follow-up actions. • Experience with Salesforce, Jira, and related business systems; familiarity with Calabrio preferred. • Strong analytical, written communication, verbal communication, organization, and independent problem-solving skills.
