About the role

Job Description What is the opportunity? In this role you will support the ongoing evolution, as well as the daily management of, RBC Global Asset Management’s (RBC GAM) email marketing automation programs as well as managing the production of a portfolio of client newsletters, ensuring alignment with the overall priorities of RBC GAM’s retail investor business. A key component will be identifying and driving go to market strategies and opportunities. The successful individual should have “software thinking” skills that allow him/her to translate business cases/opportunities into technical requirements. Manage content generation, print and production processes for a portfolio of existing collateral (including quarterly client-facing newsletters), ensuring all product marketing communications follow required review and sign-off processes and adhere to RBC GAM brand and editorial guidelines. Manage business as usual activities related to existing email marketing automation programs using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, ensuring stakeholder reviews and testing validation are performed with accuracy. Project management support to onboard new requirements or use cases for email marketing automation, including developing business requirements and other project artifacts. As a subject matter expert, support the evolution of the strategy for internal and external email marketing automation distribution technologies, helping to drive automation of content distribution and supporting lead generation opportunities to enhance and influence sales activities and goals. Manage change management activities for all email marketing automation programs for impacted stakeholders, including developing and delivering internal training requirements and best practices that will ensure and sustain high adoption/engagement rates across teams and users. Collaborate effectively with teams across the organization including marketing, sales enablement, business technology, product and marketing to drive marketing production and email marketing requirements. Analyze and evolve: leverage data and analytics to measure platform adoption, internal and external content engagement, and value of leads generated. Regularly report metrics in dashboards or other format. Provide recommendations to evolve tactics to improve campaign effectiveness over time. Regular engagements with other business lines/teams that leverage email marketing automation programs to support idea generation and share best practices. What do you need to succeed? Must Have Experience with 2-3 years Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Specialist Certification preferred) Demonstrated knowledge of common marketing processes including, but not limited to, development of marketing briefs and managing overall material development Demonstrated project management experience and ability to work with cross-functional teams to meet tight timelines and handle multiple deliverables Above average ability with Microsoft Office tools Strong written/verbal communication skills and training experience Nice to Have Experience working in the investment industry Experience in marketing Marketing Cloud Email Specialist Certification What’s in it for you?
