About The Role
The Intermediate Business Analyst supports the delivery of digital health initiatives that directly impact patients, families, and communities across Saskatchewan. This role contributes to the analysis, design, and improvement of business processes and technology solutions within an integrated healthcare environment. Working collaboratively with stakeholders, project teams, and technical resources, this position supports system changes while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and organizational priorities in a dynamic and evolving environment.
What You’ll Do
Reporting to the Manager, Primary Health Care Services, you will:
Provide guidance to development teams by clarifying business requirements and processes. Engage with stakeholders to identify and resolve impacts between proposed solutions and enterprise architecture. Support and manage changes to business processes and computer applications. Conduct feasibility studies and assist in the development of business cases to assess services and future opportunities. Gather, document, and validate business and system requirements. Monitor current, emerging, and evolving services and solutions. Analyze industry trends and comparable services in other jurisdictions to support continuous improvement. Prepare detailed technical documentation, including user and system requirements. Incorporate new technologies to create effective solutions in a changing business and technology environment. Quickly gain an understanding of business processes and adapt to shifting priorities.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related area of study. An IIBA Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) designation combined with relevant experience may be considered. Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Business Analyst or similar role, preferably within an integrated IT or healthcare environment. An equivalent combination of education and experience would be considered. Experience with database analysis, requirements analysis, and solution design techniques. Knowledge of project management methodologies (PMBOK), Agile, PRINCE2) Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills. Proven documentation skills including the ability to make proposals, charters, business requirements, test plans, and schedules. Knowledge of business needs analysis and business process improvement methodologies. A PMP certification is considered an asset.

Analytical: Ability to synthesize information, evaluate options, and develop solutions in a complex environment.
Technical: Ability to analyze integrated health systems, interfaces, and data flows across organizations.
