About the role
The Service Consultant, reporting to the Manager, will be responsible for providing service excellence to our group savings clients. You will be responsible for providing service excellence to group savings clients.
What you will do:
- Work closely with clients, consultants, and carriers building strong relationships
- Draft annual plan reviews
- Contribute as a member of the Make Sense team by responding to member inquiries via phone and email, providing timely, accurate, and service‑focused support to enhance the overall member experience
- Attend client meetings virtual and/or in person and prepare meeting minutes
- Co-ordinate marketings
- Manage client deliverables, assist on specific projects, initiatives, and research
- Draft and/or file annual information reports and plan amendments
- Monitor email, voicemail, and maintain filing within our CRM system as per guidelines
- Enjoy working in a team environment and actively contributing to a positive work culture
What you will bring:
- Knowledge of Group Retirement and savings programs
- Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation considered an asset but is not required.
- Time management in a fast-paced environment
- Able to multitask and problem solve
- Attention to detail, strong organization and prioritization skills
- Able to skillfully work independently and within a team
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook etc.)
- Sound judgement, ethics and integrity
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong client service attitude and client relationship/trust building skills
- Knowledge of EPIC an asset
- Bilingual would be an asset
- Maintenance of valid driver’s license, as periodic travel maybe required
