As we continue to expand, we are looking for a Group Benefits Specialist to join our team and play a key role in delivering customized employee benefits solutions to our clients.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and detail-oriented professional to lead and develop Stone Owl’s Group Benefits offering. As a Group Benefits Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive employee benefits programs tailored to the needs of our corporate clients. You will work closely with business owners, HR teams, and insurers to structure benefits that align with company goals while maximizing value for employees.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement customized group benefits plans, including health, dental, disability, and retirement benefits. Analyze client needs and provide strategic recommendations on cost-effective benefits solutions. Serve as the primary contact for clients, insurers, and third-party administrators, ensuring seamless communication and service delivery. Stay updated on industry trends, legislative changes, and emerging benefits solutions to provide proactive guidance to clients. Assist in business development by identifying opportunities for new client engagements and expanding existing relationships. Work collaboratively with Stone Owl’s financial planning and tax strategy teams to integrate benefits into holistic corporate planning solutions.
Requirements
Experience in group benefits planning, employee benefits consulting, or a related field. Strong understanding of group insurance products, regulatory requirements, and plan design. Excellent communication and client relationship management skills. Ability to analyze financial data and provide strategic insights into benefits planning. Self-motivated and detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
