Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead strategic business initiatives within the Capital Markets Enterprise Program Delivery team. This role requires a sharp, organized, and confident leader who can manage multiple concurrent projects, navigate complex stakeholder environments, and drive outcomes across both business and technology domains.
Required Skills & Experience
7+ years of project management experience in enterprise banking or financial services (Capital Markets)
- Proven track record delivering complex business initiatives in enterprise financial institutions (e.g., trading platforms, regulatory programs, risk systems).
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, including experience working with C-level executives.
- Strong understanding of enterprise delivery frameworks (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, hybrid models).
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Experience working with both business and technology teams in a matrixed environment.
- PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification.
- Experience with enterprise tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Clarity, or MS Project.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Familiarity with regulatory initiatives (e.g., Basel III, FRTB, LIBOR transition).
- Background in consulting or professional services delivery.
- Exposure to data governance, analytics, or digital transformation programs.
Roles/Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale business projects within Capital Markets, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Manage cross-functional teams including senior leadership/executives, business analysts, technology leads, and external vendors.
- Partner with senior executives and stakeholders to define scope, timelines, and success metrics.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, risk logs, and executive dashboards.
- Facilitate governance meetings, steering committees, and executive updates.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise delivery standards and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and resolve project risks, issues, and dependencies proactively.
- Drive continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across the program delivery team.
