FINANCE SYSTEMS ANALYST

TORONTO

As Finance Systems Analyst, you’ll play a key role in shaping how our accounting and finance systems evolve to support growth, automation, and operational excellence across the organization

Main Job Tasks And Responsibilities

As part of Trisura’s Business Technology Solutions team, you’ll work closely with Finance, IT, vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver meaningful improvements across our finance and accounting platforms.

You Will

Lead the development of clear, high-quality business requirements for finance and accounting systems, including complex customizations and integrations Analyze current and future-state processes, perform gap analysis, and recommend scalable, business-aligned solutions Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through process refinement, workflow automation, and enhanced system functionality Produce and maintain high-quality documentation, including process maps, procedures, and data/interface specifications Support the rollout and integration of new features across multiple subsidiaries and systems Help manage and prioritize the product backlog, balancing business needs and delivery capacity Participate across the full product lifecycle—from design and development through validation and business acceptance testing Build deep knowledge of Trisura’s financial data and support issue investigation and resolution Administer and maintain NSPB (NetSuite Planning and Budgeting), including managing budget hierarchies, dimension structures, monitoring system logs for errors, and Essbase configurations to support annual and ongoing planning cycles Support Finance through budget season as the internal NSPB subject matter expert—troubleshooting Essbase issues, managing metadata updates, and ensuring the system is stable and accurate during critical planning periods Perform NetSuite administrative tasks including saved searches, custom reports, workflows, roles and permissions, and light SuiteScript or SuiteFlow configuration in support of Finance operations

Qualifications

Strong experience applying business analysis techniques to complex system implementations, integrations, and enhancements Hands-on experience with ERP platforms and accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite or similar) NSPB administration experience, including hands-on Essbase configuration, dimension/hierarchy management, data maps, and troubleshooting during live planning cycles Hands-on NetSuite administration experience: saved searches, custom reports, workflows, roles and permissions, and SuiteFlow or light SuiteScript configuration Experience with Oracle products is a plus Solid understanding of accounting principles and finance processes including forecasting & budgeting Insurance industry experience is a strong asset Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills University degree in the field of Business, Management, Communications or equivalent NetSuite Administration Certification (Associate or Specialist) is a strong asset

Location:

Downtown Toronto – Hybrid – 4 days per week in office

Salary

The expected salary in this position is within the range of $85,000 - $120,000.

This salary range reflects the expected base compensation for the role across Canada. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and scope of responsibilities. Trisura provides this range in good faith in accordance with applicable legislation.
