Senior Business Analyst – Supply Chain & Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
Location: Mississauga ON(Hybrid) or Montreal QC(Hybrid) 12 months Bi-Lingual Preferred
Skills: We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Business Analyst with deep expertise in Supply Chain and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business operations and technical solutions. You will partner closely with executive stakeholders, supply chain leaders, and procurement teams to optimize processes, gather robust business requirements, and drive large-scale transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong roots in manufacturing or asset-intensive industries (similar to the pulp, paper, and packaging sectors) and possess a master-class capability in business engagement. Key Responsibilities Business Engagement & Partnership: Serve as the primary liaison between Supply Chain/Procurement business units and IT teams. Build trust-based relationships with stakeholders to understand their pain points and strategic goals. Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Lead workshops, interviews, and job-shadowing sessions to elicit, analyze, map, and document detailed business requirements, user stories, and process workflows. P2P & Supply Chain Optimization: Analyze end-to-end P2P lifecycles (sourcing, requisitioning, purchasing, receiving, and accounts payable) and supply chain operations to identify bottlenecks and implement best-in-class solutions. Solution Design & Validation: Collaborate with solution architects and developers to ensure technical designs align with business needs. Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and define clear acceptance criteria. Change Management Support: Assist in driving adoption by contributing to training documentation, communication plans, and post-implementation support. Required Qualifications & Experience Experience: 8-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, specifically focused on Supply Chain Management and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) domains. Industry Background: Direct experience in manufacturing, packaging, pulp and paper, forestry, or heavily automated heavy-industrial sectors is highly preferred. Core Skills: Exceptional requirements-gathering capabilities, business process mapping (BPMN), and gap analysis skills. Systems Knowledge: Strong familiarity with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and specialized procurement/supply chain software. Soft Skills: Elite verbal and written communication skills with a proven track record of influencing stakeholders and managing conflicting priorities with diplomacy. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field. CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or APICS certifications are a major plus.
