Location - This role is hybrid with a mix of remote and in-person. Work primarily takes place at North Campus, Edmonton.

Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) is a set of processes, software and strategies designed to help the University plan, budget, forecast and report on business performance. Under the general supervision of the Director, Institutional Financial Planning the Functional Analyst works closely with and reports to the Manager, EPM Application in providing operational support to the institution’s EPM system. This position will be a subject matter expert for the EMP system and a key resource in the phased implementation and ongoing enhancement of the system. With a strong background in institutional financial planning the Functional Analyst will be responsible for administration, configuration and maintenance of the EPM system as well as documentation of related artifacts and processes.

As a subject matter expert, the incumbent will also play an integral role in delivering training and education on leading practices within integrated budget planning. Responsibilities will include direct end-user support for the system, front line communications and responsibilities for raising awareness of budget planning.

In addition to the ongoing support of budget planning activities and system maintenance, the Functional Analyst will work consultatively with the Finance Partner Network and others throughout the university to ensure continual improvement of system functionality. As such, having a background with financial planning is critical.
