About the role
Senior Solution Architect – API Integration, Appian, OnBase & Enterprise Systems Experience Required: 10 Years Role Overview • Experienced Solution Architect (API/Integrations) to design and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing integration solutions across enterprise platforms • Provide technical leadership in API design, system integration, and modernization initiatives • Ensure seamless connectivity between applications such as Appian, OnBase, and other enterprise systems Key Responsibilities • Design end-to-end integration solutions using APIs, microservices, and middleware • Define solution architecture, integration patterns, and best practices • Lead API design and implementation using REST/SOAP services, ensuring scalability and reusability • Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into solution designs • Ensure secure integrations using standards such as OAuth2, JWT, and encryption • Oversee integration between enterprise platforms including Appian, OnBase, and cloud systems • Review and approve technical designs to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture • Provide guidance to development teams on integration design and implementation • Support API lifecycle management, versioning, and documentation standards • Identify risks, performance issues, and optimization opportunities • Work closely with DevOps teams to enable CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies Required Qualifications • 7+ years of experience in solution architecture or integration design • Strong expertise in API design, integration patterns, and microservices architecture • Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and enterprise integration tools • Proficiency in technologies such as Java, .NET, or Node.js • Strong understanding of API security including OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and JWT • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) • Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, and containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills Nice-to-Have Skills • Experience integrating Appian, OnBase, or ECM platforms • Experience in financial services or insurance domain • Exposure to event-driven architecture including Kafka and messaging systems • Knowledge of API management platforms such as Azure API Management • Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks Essential Skills • Solution Architecture • API Integration • REST/SOAP APIs • Microservices Architecture • Middleware Integration • API Security • OAuth2 / OpenID Connect / JWT • Azure Cloud • CI/CD • Docker/Kubernetes • Enterprise Architecture • Appian and OnBase Integrations
