Accountabilities: The Project Manager will oversee the full application development lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and according to quality standards. The role requires strong coordination, communication, and leadership skills to successfully manage cross-functional teams and technical initiatives. Manage application development projects from initial planning and requirements gathering through deployment and post-launch support. Create and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, milestones, and delivery roadmaps. Coordinate collaboration between developers, designers, QA testers, business stakeholders, and other project contributors. Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in alignment with business goals. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies to maintain delivery timelines. Facilitate regular project meetings, provide status updates, and ensure transparent communication across teams. Use project management tools and methodologies to track tasks, dependencies, milestones, and project performance. Promote Agile, Scrum, or other appropriate software development practices to improve team efficiency and delivery quality. Manage resource allocation, workload distribution, and team priorities to optimize project outcomes. Ensure development activities follow industry standards, internal processes, security practices, and compliance requirements. Conduct post-project reviews to identify improvements, capture lessons learned, and enhance future delivery processes. Support and mentor team members by fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Requirements: The ideal candidate has proven experience managing software development projects, strong knowledge of technical delivery processes, and the ability to lead distributed teams in a fast-paced environment. Proven experience as a Project Manager within application development, software engineering, or a related technology field. Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality, deadlines, and stakeholder alignment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coordinate cross-functional teams. Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Experience identifying project risks and developing mitigation strategies. Ability to manage priorities, handle changing requirements, and work effectively under pressure. Knowledge of software development best practices and technology delivery standards. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with attention to detail. Experience working with remote or distributed teams is preferred. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and DevOps practices is a plus. Understanding of UI/UX principles, front-end development, database management, and data integration processes is advantageous. Knowledge of cybersecurity practices and data protection standards is beneficial. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
