Overview
The Producer Experience – AI Lead is accountable for the discovery, definition, and delivery of AI use cases. The analyst sits at the intersection of sales leadership, producers, and technical teams — translating field reality into clear AI requirements, partnering with engineering and data science to shape the solution, and managing outcomes through to measurable adoption and impact. Above all, this analyst is the connective tissue between the field and our AI capability — ensuring every AI investment is rooted in a real producer problem, delivered with rigor, and judged on whether it actually helps the field sell, serve, and retain.
How you'll make an impact
AI Use Case Discovery Engage producers, sales leaders, and operations partners to surface high-value AI opportunities — starting from the producer’s day, not the technology’s capabilities. Run discovery sessions that go beyond the ask — understand the underlying workflow, the friction, and the outcome the field is chasing. Build and maintain a prioritized AI use case backlog spanning GGB and GBS, ranked by producer impact, feasibility, and strategic fit. Requirements & Solution Definition Translate field input into clear, decision-ready requirements: problem statement, success criteria, data needs, user experience, and guardrails. Partner with data science, engineering, and CRM product teams to shape pragmatic AI solutions — challenging complexity and pushing for the simplest design that earns the producer’s time. Define what “good” looks like upfront: accuracy thresholds, adoption targets, and the business outcomes the use case must move. Outcome Management & Adoption Own the use case from intake through outcome — not just delivery. Track measurement, adoption, and producer feedback after launch and iterate. Establish KPIs for each AI use case and report progress to sales leadership in plain language. Be willing to recommend retiring use cases that aren’t earning their place. Bench strength comes from focus, not volume. Cross-Division AI Engagement Lead AI engagements across GGB and GBS — ensuring shared learnings, common patterns, and a coherent producer experience regardless of division. Serve as the trusted translator between business stakeholders and technical teams.
About you
Business analysis discipline — proven ability to elicit requirements, structure ambiguous problems, and produce artifacts that drive decisions. Comfortable with process mapping, user stories, and outcome-based scoping. AI fluency — working understanding of modern AI capabilities (generative AI, predictive models, ML-driven workflows) and where they actually create value. Knows the difference between AI hype and an AI use case. Producer & sales orientation — instinct for how producers sell and what wastes their time. Builds requirements from the seat of the user, not the org chart. Technical partnership — credible with engineering, data science, and architecture teams. Can interrogate a solution design, surface trade-offs, and hold the line on producer outcomes. Insurance or brokerage exposure — familiarity with how revenue is generated in a brokerage or financial services environment, or the appetite and aptitude to ramp quickly. Delivers through ambiguity — defines the path when none exists, drives decisions with incomplete information, and pushes initiatives across the finish line. Bias to action — moves with urgency, owns the outcome, and refuses to let coordination overhead slow the field down. Success in This Role Looks Like Producers and sales leaders say: “The AI work we’re doing is actually solving real problems.” A trusted, prioritized AI use case pipeline exists across our Retail divisions — with clear owners, outcomes, and timelines. AI requirements coming out of this role are unambiguous, testable, and ready for technical execution on day one. Adoption and business outcomes are measured for every shipped use case — not assumed. Gallagher keeps pace with the AI environment and protects its competitive edge in the field.
