Senior Data Engineer (Contract) | Remote (Canada) | Long-Term Program
Our client, is seeking experienced Senior Data Engineers to join a major enterprise data transformation program
This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale data migration and integration projects, helping to build modern, scalable data platforms within a complex enterprise environment. A significant focus of these projects is migrating data from Workday into Snowflake, so candidates with previous Workday data migration experience are particularly encouraged to apply.
What you'll be doing Designing and building scalable data migration solutions Developing robust data ingestion and integration pipelines Migrating data from Workday and other enterprise systems into Snowflake Working with Apache NiFi/Openflow and Informatica across multiple projects Collaborating with architects and engineering teams to deliver high-quality, production-ready solutions Supporting large-scale enterprise data transformation initiatives
We're looking for experience with: Strong hands-on experience as a Senior Data Engineer Snowflake Apache NiFi/Openflow and/or Informatica Workday data migration or Workday integrations (highly desirable) Azure SQL, SQL Server and SQL development Python Enterprise ETL/ELT and data integration Building scalable, production-grade data pipelines
Contract Details 100% Remote (Canada) Preference for candidates working Eastern Time hours 40 hours per week 12–16 week initial contracts Long-term program with multiple projects planned Competitive hourly rates based on experience Immediate interviews with July/August start dates
