Business Process Coordinator – Business Operations | Markham, ON | Full-Time

Role & Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

Process Documentation & Workflow Support

Assist with documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), workflows, process maps, and operational documentation. Support BPMN 2.0 flowchart creation and process visualization activities. Maintain process documentation libraries and version control records. Assist in updating operational procedures based on evolving business requirements and system changes.

Coordination & Follow-Up Support

Coordinate meetings, action items, and operational follow-ups related to BPM initiatives. Track progress of strategic initiatives and support status reporting activities. Follow up with departments regarding process documentation requests, workflow reviews, and approvals. Support scheduling and coordination of workshops, process review sessions, and operational meetings.

KPI Tracking & Reporting

Support KPI tracking, dashboard updates, and operational reporting activities. Assist with collecting and organizing operational data for process analysis and management reporting. Help maintain initiative tracking sheets, reporting logs, and workflow status updates. Support the maintenance of departmental status dashboards to provide visibility on process documentation progress, action items, approvals, and implementation status.

ERP & Operational Alignment Support

Support ERP-related process documentation and workflow alignment activities. Assist with identifying process gaps, bottlenecks, and operational inconsistencies. Support process standardization efforts across departments.

Administrative & Operational Support

Prepare meeting notes, summaries, presentations, and operational documentation. Assist with maintaining process-related records, templates, and governance documentation. Support audit preparation and operational compliance documentation activities.

Stakeholder Engagement

Communicate professionally with stakeholders across departments. Build collaborative working relationships with operational teams and department managers. Support process adoption activities through clear communication and coordination. Support training coordination activities, including preparing training materials, organizing sessions, tracking participation, and assisting with knowledge transfer related to new or updated processes.

Qualifications / Requirements

Required Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you bring:

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Project Management, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in business operations, process coordination, workflow documentation, project coordination, or operational support roles. Familiarity with process documentation standards, SOP development, and workflow/process mapping concepts. Working knowledge of BPMN 2.0 and process mapping principles. Experience documenting business processes and maintaining process documentation, templates, and version control records. Ability to gather information from stakeholders and translate business activities into clear process documentation. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio or similar process visualization tools. Working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and experience maintaining document libraries, folders, and process-related repositories. Experience maintaining trackers, status reports, dashboards, and follow-up logs. Demonstrated ability to coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders and support meetings, workshops, and action item follow-up. Strong organizational, coordination, and follow-up skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and build positive stakeholder relationships. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand workflows and support practical operational improvements. Adaptable, collaborative, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced and evolving operational environment.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

Exposure to ERP systems, reporting platforms, or workflow management tools such as NetSuite and Power BI. Knowledge of Lean, Agile, or continuous improvement methodologies. Experience with BPM software such as Visual Paradigm, Camunda, Lucidchart, or similar tools. Exposure to process governance, audit support, quality management, or compliance activities. Experience supporting training activities and knowledge transfer initiatives. Interest in business process management, digital transformation, operational excellence, and AI-enabled process improvement initiatives.

Salary Range for Role: $60,000 – $65,000 CAD

Compensation at PTAG varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
