About the role

Position Summary... Drive the Marketplace flywheel by building capabilities, programs, and strategies that enable sellers to successfully launch, optimize, and profitably grow their businesses on the platform. Act as a key liaison between sellers, product teams, marketing, pricing, catalogue and operational stakeholders to improve seller success, customer experience, and Marketplace performance. What you'll do... This role may define, plan, and oversee large, cross-functional programs and initiatives. Responsibilities may include establishing program objectives, developing implementation plans, identifying risks and mitigation strategies, allocating resources, and monitoring progress to support successful delivery of business outcomes.

This role may manage program budgets, evaluate financial impacts, contribute to business cases, and support planning activities. Responsibilities may also include tracking performance measures, assessing results, forecasting potential challenges, and recommending improvements that enhance operational effectiveness and organizational performance.

This role may build collaborative relationships with stakeholders, facilitate alignment across diverse groups, and communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner. The role may also influence decision-making through data-informed recommendations, preparation of reports, and support for strategic initiatives and organizational priorities.

This role may contribute to business operations, process optimization, and continuous improvement efforts by applying knowledge of business practices, technology capabilities, and organizational objectives. Responsibilities may also include supporting talent development, fostering a culture of integrity and accountability, and promoting effective partnerships that help achieve business goals. Day to Day Responsibilities: Lead the go-to-market strategy and execution for new Marketplace features, programs, products, policies, and tools. Drive seller awareness, adoption, and engagement with initiatives that improve seller performance and business growth. Create organizational visibility and reporting on new feature launches, adoption metrics, and business impact. Monitor and analyze seller experience through Voice of Seller insights, research, and feedback mechanisms. Partner with Product, Operations, and Business teams to develop and execute action plans that improve seller satisfaction and experience metrics. Own seller communications for the Canada Marketplace, including newsletters, educational content, training programs, and Marketplace learning initiatives. Develop, manage, and optimize seller incentive programs and budgets to influence desired seller behaviors and improve business outcomes. Track incentive program effectiveness, measure ROI, and recommend investment strategies to maximize impact. Collaborate with Pricing teams to improve Marketplace offer quality, assortment competitiveness, and price positioning. Provide sellers with actionable business insights, performance analytics, and recommendations to accelerate GMV growth. Partner with Marketing teams across SEM, SEO, CRM, Affiliates, and Digital Performance channels to increase Marketplace offsite offer exposure and traffic. Work closely with Connect and Digital Experience teams to enhance offer visibility and discoverability across digital touchpoints (web and app) Identify and implement opportunities to improve item setup, onboarding, catalog quality, and seller workflow efficiency in partnership with Catalog teams. Drive initiatives to increase Marketplace ratings and reviews, improve review volume, freshness, quality, and overall customer trust. Establish performance metrics, monitor Marketplace health indicators, and provide regular reporting to leadership on seller success outcomes. Influence cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize initiatives that drive seller growth, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in eCommerce, Marketplace, Retail, Digital, or Seller Success. Proven track record of driving business growth through seller, vendor, or partner engagement programs. Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn insights into action. Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders. Strong business acumen with experience managing budgets, incentives, and performance metrics. Passion for customer experience, seller success, and digital innovation. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications Marketplace, platform, or digital ecosystem experience. Knowledge of pricing, digital marketing, catalog management, or seller operations. Experience scaling high-growth eCommerce or Marketplace businesses. Leadership Expectations:
