We are seeking an experienced DevOps Kubernetes Architect for our esteemed client based in Mississauga, Ontario.
Key Responsibilities
Architect, build, and operate the Integrated Developer Platform (IDP) to accelerate application delivery using gated CI/CD pipeline templates. Define and evangelize DevOps and platform architecture, driving the automation strategy for cloud platforms. Establish Kubernetes architecture standards, reference designs, and best practices across the enterprise. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams on Kubernetes and cloud-native architecture decisions. Collaborate with Cloud Engineering teams to define technical direction and resource plans.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience in software engineering/infrastructure, including 8+ years in full-stack development, Kubernetes architecture, and enterprise CI/CD pipeline design and delivery. 10+ years of proficiency in DevOps/GitOps tools (ArgoCD, Kargo, Crossplane, Helm). 10+ years of experience in cloud automation (Terraform, Ansible, Python) and multi-cloud security. Knowledge of networking (Cilium, Istio, Azure CNI) and cloud platforms (Azure/GCP).
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Certifications in Azure/GCP/Kubernetes (e.g., CKA/CKAD/CKS). Experience in React/TypeScript/Backstage and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Final compensation will be determined after considering several factors, including professional experience, skill set, educational background, certifications, and geographic market conditions. The current target salary range for this role is $100,000 – $120,000 per year
