We go deepest in financial services, insurance, and retail, and we measure ourselves by one thing: meaningful, measurable impact.
We’re bootstrapped and independently funded. Today we’re building agentic systems for a global real estate & asset company, helping a major insurer shape their AI strategic roadmap, and guiding a private wealth management firm through an AI transformation spanning literacy, talent evolution, opportunity mapping, operating model, and pilots. We’re in it for the long run with our clients: we build trust that lasts and impact that compounds.
Our team operates at the level this work demands. In past work - they have created new revenue streams with AI for retailers, helped modernize a federal agency's machine learning operations, and built moderation systems at scale inside the world's leading technology firms. Across more than 40 engagements, they have owned enterprise AI strategy, shaped operating models for the AI era, and delivered systems into production.
The Role AI Deployment Strategists at Zeno translate ambition into action. You step into a client’s world, unpack their vision, and define the AI pathways that move the business forward. You shape opportunities, structure roadmaps, frame risks, and guide leaders through the decisions that matter most.
The work blends strategic clarity, business insight, technical literacy, and the instinct to turn potential into results. In a typical engagement you’ll go from first conversations to a prioritized roadmap and a deployed solution, helping clients see what’s possible, what’s practical, and what will generate value today.
What You’ll Do Build a clear perspective on each client’s business, drawing on our industry experts and the technology we use, then bring that perspective to clients and shape it together with them Map the opportunity landscape: surfacing, sizing, and prioritizing where AI creates real value across a client’s operations Shape the AI roadmap: sequence the initiatives, dependencies, and milestones that take a client from first deployment to lasting capability Design the operating model that makes AI stick how teams, processes, governance, and decision rights need to evolve around it Build the talent roadmap: define the roles, skills, and ways of working a client needs to run and grow with AI long after we’ve left Shape requirements for AI systems, including agents, workflows, data foundations, and responsible AI practices Partner with engineers to turn strategy into shippable solutions Guide clients through decisions on scope, value, change management, and adoption
What You Bring 3+ years in management consulting, corporate strategy, product, solutions or sales engineering, or a comparable client facing advisory role A track record of translating business goals into technology roadmaps and delivering measurable outcomes You think in systems, connect AI capabilities to concrete business value, and pick up new industries quickly Genuine curiosity, paired with real experience augmenting your own work with AI (for example, building Claude skills or similar) Enough technical literacy in AI, machine learning, automation, and data to scope systems and partner credibly with engineers; you don’t need to build them Strong executive communication; you simplify complexity, earn trust quickly, and shape direction when the path isn’t yet defined Comfort operating in ambiguity and fast-moving environments Ability to travel to client sites as needed (typically 20 to 40%) Bonus: experience across both enterprise organizations and SMBs
Why Zeno You’ll help shape how SMBs adopt AI, advising leaders and designing the pathways that move their businesses forward. Reporting directly to the Managing Partner, you’ll work shoulder to shoulder with a small, senior team and the industry experts who inform our perspective, and you’ll have a real voice in how we deliver and how we innovate. Within your first engagements you’ll take a client from first conversation to a roadmap they’re acting on, partner with engineers to ship real solutions, and help turn what you learn into repeatable methodology for Zeno.
How we work matters as much as what we build. We move at the right speed, calibrating our innovation acumen to each client’s risk appetite and business imperative, never faster than the business can absorb and never slower than the opportunity demands.
