One of our leading telecommunications clients is looking for an experienced Consultant, Talent Acquisition (Technical Recruitment) to join their Talent Acquisition team and support hiring across highly specialized technology functions, with a primary focus on AI and Data Science recruitment. Job Title: Consultant, Talent Acquisition (Technical Recruitment) Location: Mississauga, ON (Onsite) Contract Duration: 6 Months+ (Extension Possible) Employment Type: Contract Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle recruitment for technical positions from intake to offer acceptance Partner with hiring managers and technology leaders to understand hiring requirements and develop recruitment strategies Source and engage passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, talent mapping, and market research Recruit for roles across: Artificial Intelligence (AI) Data Science Machine Learning Software Engineering Cloud Technology Data Engineering Technology & Digital Functions Conduct candidate screening and qualification assessments Manage candidate pipelines and recruitment activities within ATS/CRM systems Coordinate interviews and provide regular recruitment updates to stakeholders Support offer discussions and candidate negotiations Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle
Required Qualifications Proven experience recruiting for technical and technology-focused positions Strong understanding of AI, Data Science, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, Cloud, or related technology functions Advanced sourcing expertise using: LinkedIn Recruiter Boolean Search Talent Mapping Market Intelligence Research Experience engaging and attracting passive technical talent Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment Preferred Experience SuccessFactors Phenom People HackerRank Enterprise-level or high-growth technology recruitment environments
