About the role

Job Description What is the opportunity? We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Product Owner to support Wealth Management Canada's (WMC) client reporting applications and future-state experience. In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert and bridge between business stakeholders, technology teams, Investment Advisor/Counselor teams, and clients. You will translate business requirements into product strategy, execute on the product vision and roadmap, and set backlog prioritization. Through strategic collaboration and ongoing support, you will ensure that our client reporting solutions deliver exceptional value and meet evolving market demands. What will you do? Primary Responsibilities: Define, document, and communicate clear business requirements aligned with WMC's strategic objectives and advisor/client needs Assist in the prioritization of features that empower advisors to deliver superior client reporting experiences and streamline operational processes Conduct discovery sessions with business stakeholders to better understand workflows, identify operational gaps and translate them into product and efficiency opportunities Turn data insights into actionable product features and monitor their impact using key metrics Support the day-to-day operations of WMC's client reporting applications and investigate field inquiries Seek out industry trends, competitive intelligence, and regulatory impacts to inform best practices and desired advisor experience Actively participate in project meetings, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies to set goals, clarify priorities, and drive progress Manage backlog refinement based on business value, market impact, and advisor operational needs Collect, analyze, and prioritize advisor feedback on usability, customization, and feature gaps Coordinate and participate in the execution of user acceptance testing and user feedback sessions Work with business stakeholders to develop training materials, documentation, and support resources for advisor adoption Help coordinate readiness and go-to-market activities, including field communications and training What do you need to succeed? Must have: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field 5+ years of experience in the wealth management industry and/or client reporting Proven experience defining, documenting, and managing business requirements in complex, stakeholder-driven environments Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Critical thinking discipline with ability to think outside the box and consider innovative approaches Ability to work effectively in situations involving rapid change and shifting priorities Nice-to-have: CSC and CPH considered an asset Familiarity with reporting tools and data visualization platforms Product management experience leading cross-functional product initiatives Proven collaboration and change management skills French language skills considered an asset What’s in it for you?
