About The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Business Analyst with PMI-PGMP certification to join our team in Mississauga, Canada. This role requires a professional with at least 8 years of experience in project management, particularly in managing Agile projects within complex, cross-functional environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of multiple programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and driving performance improvements. The Business Analyst will work closely with development teams, stakeholders, and leadership to define project scope, manage product backlogs, and influence resource allocation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead initiatives that have a long-term positive impact on the organization, utilizing domain-driven architecture to guide product and service development. The role demands strong interpersonal skills, the ability to operate successfully in ambiguous environments, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.

Qualifications

Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management and business analysis PMI-PGMP certification (Mandatory) Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and lifecycle management Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects with long-term impact Proficiency in journal entries and general ledger management Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Ability to operate successfully in ambiguous and dynamic environments Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills Experience in product backlog management and program outline definition Familiarity with domain-driven architecture and product development processes Proven ability to influence across multiple teams and organizational levels

Responsibilities

Manage the entire lifecycle of complex, cross-functional projects that contribute to long-term organizational success Ensure comprehensive understanding and management of journal entries and general ledger activities Own and prioritize product backlog, ensuring alignment with project goals and stakeholder requirements Define and organize program outline principles, analyze data, and drive performance improvements Influence resource allocation and project execution strategies from ideation through delivery Deep dive into the business domain to understand needs and steer product and service development using domain-driven architecture Collaborate closely with development teams to build, test, and launch new products, features, and programs Coordinate across multiple teams and organizations to ensure seamless project execution and communication Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across teams Monitor project progress, remove blockers, and adapt strategies to ensure successful outcomes Handle multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities effectively to stakeholders at all levels Operate proactively in ambiguous situations, providing clarity and direction as needed
