Industrialization and Deployment Manager – Digital Manufacturing Transformation Company: Cyient Location: Longueuil, Quebec Employment type: Full-time Work arrangement: On-site, five days per week Travel: Occasional domestic and international travel About the Opportunity Cyient is seeking an Industrialization and Deployment Manager to support an innovative aerospace manufacturing program in Longueuil, Quebec. You will join the Model-Based Definition, Manufacturing & Inspection (MB-DMI) team within the Quality organization. This digital-transformation initiative integrates 3D model-based processes, automation and advanced inspection technologies into product definition, manufacturing and quality-control activities. The program uses leading-edge technologies such as 3D scanning, high-precision Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs), digital metrology and automated inspection to improve product quality, delivery times, manufacturing costs and overall operational performance. In this position, you will lead the industrialization and deployment of new processes and technologies developed by the MB-DMI team. You will serve as a key liaison among Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Quality and Supply Chain, ensuring that innovative solutions achieve production readiness and are successfully deployed to internal and external customers. Your ability to influence stakeholders, build consensus and mobilize cross-functional teams will be essential to your success. Key Responsibilities • Lead MB-DMI technology-deployment projects from initial planning through production implementation. • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, performance indicators, dashboards and progress reports. • Coordinate and mobilize multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives and delivery commitments. • Identify, assess and manage project risks by developing mitigation and contingency plans. • Evaluate the Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of new solutions and define the actions required to achieve production readiness. • Lead the industrialization and deployment of new digital-manufacturing and inspection technologies. • Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Operations and Supply Chain teams to ensure successful implementation. • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, technology providers, AI and data-analytics teams, strategic suppliers and other external partners. • Support process-improvement and organizational change-management activities. • Promote the adoption of MB-DMI technologies and act as an ambassador for digital-manufacturing transformation. • Ensure that new processes and technologies meet customer, quality, operational and production requirements. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial or Software Engineering. • Minimum of three years of relevant professional experience. • Experience in project management, continuous improvement, industrialization or organizational transformation. • Knowledge of mechanical design, manufacturing processes, dimensional inspection and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). • Experience working with multiple stakeholders in a multidisciplinary or cross-functional environment. • Working knowledge of process mapping and PFMEA. • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. • Strong project-planning, organizational and risk-management skills. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities. • Demonstrated leadership and the ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English. • Ability to work on-site in Longueuil five days per week. • Availability for occasional domestic and international travel. Preferred Qualifications • Master’s degree in Engineering. • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. • Experience leading change-management or organizational-transformation initiatives. • Experience in aerospace, automotive or another advanced-manufacturing environment. • Experience with Model-Based Definition, Model-Based Enterprise or digital-manufacturing processes. • Knowledge of Jira. • Experience with ENOVIA V6 or another Product Lifecycle Management system. • Basic programming knowledge in Python, C++ or a similar language. • Familiarity with metrology, CMMs, 3D scanning, automation and manufacturing inspection. • Experience deploying new processes or technologies into a production environment. • Ability to establish effective partnerships with customers, suppliers and technical teams. Position Requirements This is a full-time position based at the client’s facility in Longueuil, Quebec. The successful candidate must be available to work on-site five days per week.
