Your future role on our team
Join BBA and help expand our expertise in power generation and apparatus. You’ll be responsible for planning, coordinating and overseeing the department’s operations to ensure high-quality deliverables, operational efficiency and ongoing team development.
Your leadership skills will be key in motivating and developing a team of engineering and field services professionals. You’ll contribute to projects involving off-grid power system design, major industrial electrical infrastructure and the commissioning of electrical equipment for clients in the energy, heavy industry and natural resources sectors.
This role will give you the opportunity to take the lead while remaining close to the action by working closely with talented people.

Plan, coordinate and oversee consulting services for power generation facilities and electrical equipment, including technical specifications, design reviews and detailed engineering Manage the department’s operations, including resource planning, productivity, deliverable quality and achievement of efficiency targets Develop the team's technical capabilities through training, mentoring, improving work methods and implementing effective tools Actively participate in recruiting, onboarding, monitoring and evaluating employees under your supervision Build trusted business relationships with clients, help prepare proposals and support business development initiatives Work closely with the Practice, Innovation, Operations and Business Development teams to structure the department, improve work processes and support the growth of the Electrical Engineering discipline

Summary Of Certifications And Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec From 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in consulting engineering, power generation, electrical equipment or a related field At least five years of experience in staff management, technical team management, project management or an equivalent role Experience preparing proposals, client management and business development Strong knowledge of design tools, office software and engineering methods applicable to electrical projects Intermediate English skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients located in English-speaking Canadian provinces and abroad; you may need to use English occasionally or regularly, depending on current projects Advanced French skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in Québec
