Position: BSA – Wealth Management Location: Toronto Ontario
Key Responsibilities: Gather, analyze, and document business requirements across wealth management functions such as portfolio management, trading, and client reporting. Map wealth management data domains (clients, accounts, positions, transactions, securities) and ensure accurate data flow across systems. Collaborate with stakeholders (portfolio managers, traders, compliance teams) to understand trading lifecycle and operational needs. Analyze end-to-end trade lifecycle (order creation, execution, settlement, reconciliation) and identify gaps or process improvements. Write and execute complex SQL queries for data validation, reconciliation, and ad-hoc analysis. Support data integration and mapping activities between upstream (front office) and downstream (back office/reporting) systems. Create functional specifications, data mapping documents, and process flows for system enhancements and new initiatives. Work closely with development and QA teams to define test scenarios, validate outputs, and ensure accurate implementation. Perform data quality checks to ensure consistency, completeness, and accuracy across wealth management datasets. Assist in regulatory and compliance reporting by ensuring systems align with financial regulations and reporting standards.
