As part of our continued growth, we are seeking experienced SAP professionals to lead solution design, ensure delivery excellence, and support client transformation initiatives across complex SAP landscapes. Job Summary Syntax is seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Senior Digital Manufacturing Consultant to join our SAP Digital Manufacturing team in North America. In this role, you will support transformative Industry 4.0 initiatives by helping clients implement SAP Digital Manufacturing solutions that improve operational efficiency, strengthen manufacturing processes, and enable smarter production outcomes. This position is well suited for a collaborative professional who thrives in dynamic environments and is committed to continuous learning and client success. Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout SAP Digital Manufacturing implementation engagements. Act as a functional consultant across all phases of SAP Activate projects. Prepare for and lead Fit-to-Standard workshops to assess customer requirements and solution alignment. Coordinate and execute configuration activities that support SAP Digital Manufacturing implementations. Support integration efforts between SAP Digital Manufacturing and related modules such as Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM), Plant Maintenance (PM), Inventory Management (IM), Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), and machine or device integration. Assist with customer training, testing, and post-go-live support activities. Collaborate with internal team members to strengthen SAP Digital Manufacturing expertise and delivery capability. Support presales demonstrations and workshops to showcase SAP Digital Manufacturing capabilities. Demonstrate initiative, accountability, and ownership in assigned responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience. Strong preference for experience with Manufacturing Execution System (MES) implementations. Demonstrated interest in learning new SAP technologies and contributing to innovative projects. Willingness to travel up to 25% to client locations across North America. Experience with SAP Production Planning (PP) implementations preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SAP Digital Manufacturing solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal teams. An appreciation for innovation, continuous improvement, and modern delivery approaches, including automation and AI-enabled services.
Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred. SAP certifications or relevant industry certifications are an asset. Why Syntax?
