We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Public Sector Account Manager to play a key role in achieving these growth targets by expanding our presence across Canada. This is an opportunity for a high-performing sales professional to make a meaningful impact by developing new public sector client relationships, growing strategic accounts, and helping shape the continued success of one of Canada's fastest-growing technology consulting firms.

Position Summary The Public Sector Account Manager is responsible for developing new business opportunities while growing and managing existing public sector client relationships. This is a strategic sales role focused on consultative selling, identifying client challenges, positioning ITnet's capabilities, and working closely with recruitment and delivery teams to deliver high-quality consulting and staffing solutions.

Success in this role requires a strong professional network, proven business development skills, and the ability to build trusted executive relationships that generate long-term partnerships.

Note: The location for this role is for either Ottawa or Toronto (GTA), Ontario.

Key Responsibilities Business Development Develop and execute an annual sales strategy aligned with corporate growth objectives. Generate new business opportunities across Federal, Provincial, Municipal, Crown Corporation and Agencies. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities. Identify upcoming projects, procurement opportunities, and staffing requirements. Conduct client meetings to understand business challenges and position ITnet solutions. Develop strategic account plans for target organizations.

Account Management Build trusted relationships with executive stakeholders, procurement teams, hiring managers, and project leaders. Serve as a strategic advisor to clients by understanding their business priorities. Identify and pursue opportunities to expand existing accounts. Conduct regular business reviews with key clients. Ensure exceptional client satisfaction and long-term retention.

Sales & Opportunity Management Lead the complete sales lifecycle from prospecting through contract execution. Prepare client presentations, proposals, pricing, and statements of work. Work collaboratively with proposal, recruiting, and operations teams. Negotiate commercial terms while maintaining profitability objectives. Maintain accurate opportunity forecasting within the CRM.

Collaboration Partner closely with recruiters to ensure timely delivery of qualified consultants. Support proposal development and client presentations. Work with executive leadership on strategic pursuits. Participate in marketing events, networking opportunities, conferences, and industry associations.

Qualifications 5+ years of business development or account management experience within IT consulting, technology services, or professional staffing. Proven track record of exceeding sales targets. Experience selling consulting services, project delivery, or professional services. Existing network. Strong executive presence with exceptional communication skills. Experience negotiating contracts and commercial agreements. Strong understanding of consultative sales methodologies.
