About the role: Agentic AI & DevOps Automation Engineer for Robotics Data Platform
Are you passionate about using automation, DevOps, and agentic AI to accelerate software development and improve platform reliability? Do you enjoy building CI/CD pipelines, test automation, observability, infrastructure-as-code, and AI-assisted engineering workflows?
We are seeking an Agentic AI & DevOps Automation Engineer to help the Robotics Data Platform team build faster, test smarter, operate reliably, and continuously improve engineering productivity. This role combines modern DevOps practices with emerging agentic AI capabilities for code generation, test generation, documentation, data-quality checks, and operational diagnostics.
You will work closely with platform architects, backend engineers, frontend engineers, data engineers, and product leadership to establish a high-quality, secure, automated, and AI-augmented engineering environment.
What will you do?
Build CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and maintain automated build, test, security, deployment, and release pipelines. Drive Infrastructure Automation: Implement infrastructure-as-code, container orchestration, environment provisioning, and deployment automation. Enable Observability: Build monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting, and dashboards for platform services and data workflows. Implement Test Automation: Support automated unit, integration, API, workflow, frontend, security, and regression testing. Introduce Agentic AI Practices: Evaluate and apply AI-assisted tools for code generation, test creation, documentation, code review support, and engineering productivity. Build Data QA Agents: Collaborate with data and backend engineers to create automated agents or workflows that detect data-quality issues, missing metadata, and pipeline anomalies. Support Secure Development: Integrate vulnerability scanning, secrets management, dependency checks, access controls, and compliance-friendly audit trails. Improve Developer Experience: Create templates, tooling, documentation, and reusable automation to help engineers move faster with higher quality. Support Platform Operations: Help define operational runbooks, incident response practices, and production-readiness criteria.
What you will bring:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Engineering, AI Engineering, or a related field. DevOps Engineering: Strong experience with CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, containers, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and automated deployment. Automation Mindset: Ability to identify repetitive engineering tasks and turn them into reliable automated workflows. Testing Expertise: Experience with test automation frameworks, quality gates, integration testing, regression testing, and pipeline validation. Observability: Strong understanding of logging, monitoring, tracing, metrics, alerting, and operational dashboards. Security Awareness: Familiarity with DevSecOps, vulnerability scanning, access control, secrets management, and secure software delivery. Agentic AI Skills: Practical experience or strong interest in using LLMs, AI agents, coding assistants, or automation frameworks to improve engineering productivity. Programming: Proficiency in scripting and development using Python, Bash, TypeScript, Go, or similar languages. Collaboration: Ability to work across backend, frontend, data, robotics, and product teams to improve delivery performance.
What sets you apart:
Experience with MLOps, data pipeline operations, dataset validation, or AI platform engineering. Experience building AI agents for software engineering, testing, documentation, or operational diagnostics. Familiarity with Siemens development environments, industrial cybersecurity, or regulated software processes. Experience with policy-as-code, compliance automation, or secure-by-design platform delivery. Experience with robotics, edge deployments, or industrial data systems.
