Why is this role important? As a Senior Analyst, Online Grocery Delivery, you will support the performance and continuous improvement of our last-mile delivery operations. This role combines operational execution, data analysis, and stakeholder collaboration to help optimize delivery performance, cost efficiency, and customer experience. You will work closely with Product, Technology, and Store Operations teams to implement new processes and drive operational excellence across our growing delivery network. What you’ll do: Partner with Delivery Operations to design and execute experiments aimed at improving key metrics (e.g., on-time delivery, driver wait time, cost per order) Analyze operational and customer data to generate actionable insights and recommendations Monitor and report on KPIs, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement Act as a key point of contact for delivery escalations, ensuring timely triage and resolution Coordinate daily operations across 3PL partners, fleet teams, and internal stakeholders Manage logistics exceptions, ensuring clear communication and rapid issue resolution across the network Develop, maintain, and continuously improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) Support financial processes including vendor PO validation, accruals, and invoice tracking Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Tech, and Retail teams to support operational initiatives and new capabilities Does this sound like you? 2–4 years of experience in analytics, operations, finance, or a related field Strong analytical mindset with experience working with data to drive decisions Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with SQL is strongly preferred Excellent organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally Self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively Flexibility to support operations outside standard hours when required How you’ll succeed At Loblaw Digital, we seek great people to continually strengthen our culture.
