Position Summary
The Business Process Analyst, Construction Operations is responsible for leading process discovery, current-state mapping, and gap analysis across Hypertec Construction (HCON) business operations. This role works directly with HCON operational stakeholders to document how work is performed, identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities, and produce structured analysis that supports operational decision-making and continuous improvement. The role sits within the Process Intelligence mandate, operating to established documentation standards and contributing to the organization’s enterprise process repository.
What You’ll Be Contributing:

Lead process discovery sessions with HCON operational stakeholders, process owners, and subject matter experts to capture and document current-state workflows using established process mapping standards and tools.

Conduct structured gap analysis to identify process inefficiencies, risks, redundancies, and improvement opportunities, producing clear reports with prioritized recommendations for operational and leadership review.

Build and maintain working relationships with HCON operational stakeholders to support ongoing discovery, documentation validation, and process accuracy.

Contribute completed process documentation and gap analysis outputs to the enterprise process repository in alignment with established metadata, tagging, AI-readiness, and quality standards.

Monitor and update HCON process documentation on a defined review cycle to reflect operational changes, project transitions, and process improvements.

Support the identification and prioritization of process improvement and automation opportunities emerging from gap analysis activities.

Coordinate with the broader Process Intelligence team on documentation standards, tooling, and repository practices, and prepare operational and executive reporting on HCON process mapping progress and findings.
What Sets You Apart:

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Demonstrated experience in business process mapping, process analysis, or operational improvement, including current-state documentation and gap analysis.

Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to conduct structured discovery sessions and build credibility with operational teams.

Proficiency with process mapping, diagramming, and documentation tools and platforms.

Strong written communication skills with demonstrated ability to produce clear, concise process documentation, gap analysis reports, and recommendations for non-technical operational audiences.

Demonstrated willingness and ability to learn and apply AI tools in day-to-day work, including AI-assisted process documentation, analysis, or reporting.

Experience working within or directly supporting data center construction operations, including familiarity with data center project workflows, trades coordination, commissioning, or procurement.

Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, BPMN, or equivalent.

Experience working within an IT-led or enterprise-wide process improvement mandate.

Familiarity with AI, automation, or digital transformation initiatives in an operational context.
