Job Title: Data Analytics Specialist (Government Client Experience Required) Location: Edmonton, AB (Remote) Duration: 12 Months Contract with possible extension

Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Data Analytics Specialist to join a 12-month contract engagement with a strong possibility of extension. This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale data initiatives, build advanced analytics solutions, and support data-driven decision-making within a complex enterprise environment.

Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field (equivalent experience will be considered). 6+ years of experience with Python, R, SQL, or similar statistical/programming languages. 6+ years of experience building analytical, predictive, and quantitative models. 6+ years of experience preparing data for predictive and prescriptive modeling. 6+ years of experience in data analytics, statistical modeling, and data science methodologies. 6+ years of experience with AI and Machine Learning solutions. Strong knowledge of statistical techniques, data mining, clustering, regression, and predictive analytics. Experience combining data from multiple sources and domains. Experience creating dashboards, reports, and data visualizations. Experience communicating complex analytical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Knowledge of data governance, metadata, data quality, de-identification, synthetic data, and data ethics. Experience designing and maintaining data pipelines and analytics workflows. Experience building end-to-end analytics or AI-enabled applications. Experience with modern web frameworks such as React.js, Vue.js, or similar. Experience with Azure, Snowflake, Spark, Hadoop, or other cloud/big data technologies. Experience working with large enterprise or public sector datasets is considered an asset.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deliver analytical models, data products, and insights. Analyze, clean, and prepare data for predictive and prescriptive analytics. Develop statistical models, machine learning solutions, and AI-enabled analytics. Build and maintain data pipelines and analytics workflows. Design dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support business decisions. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand analytical requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Develop algorithms that generate measurable business value. Work with structured and unstructured data from multiple sources. Support end-to-end analytics and AI application development. Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to team members. Present analytical findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders. Capture business and technical metadata for analytical products. Ensure data quality, governance, and best practices throughout the analytics lifecycle.
