  • Be a subject matter expert on core data sources and the data warehouse: understand relevant data fields, underlying queries, and reporting structures; troubleshoot data/reporting issues and manage change requests.
  • Identify gaps in available data and metrics; work with technical BI partners to evolve data capture, data models, and governance to meet new business requirements.
  • Promote adoption and effective use of reporting/analytics platforms through stakeholder training, enablement, and documentation.
  • Monitor BI and analytics best practices (data visualization, predictive/diagnostic techniques, automation) and recommend improvements that increase productivity and insight quality.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Master’s degree (preferred) or Bachelor’s degree with equivalent experience in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, applied statistics, econometrics, computer science, operations research, business intelligence).
  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience in an advanced analytics, BI, or comparable data-driven role; travel/tour operator industry experience is an asset.

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect analysis to commercial outcomes.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills; strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Critical thinking and sound judgment to validate outputs, challenge assumptions, and use pragmatic approaches when information is incomplete.
  • Ability to synthesize complex situations into simple, compelling messages and data stories.
  • High autonomy, initiative, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills for presentations, written reporting, and executive-level discussions.
