We’re not just implementing a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system — we’re redefining how we work. This Town-wide project will connect people, processes, and technology across finance, payroll, procurement, human resources, and beyond, strengthening decision-making and service delivery. Working in a cross-functional and forward-thinking environment, and in support of the Town of Innisfil’s Strategic Plan 2030, and our core values of “Community First. Future Ready. Balance Always.”, the ERP Systems & Solutions Lead, as part of the ERP implementation team, will be responsible for the implementation, administration, maintenance, support, and continuous improvement of the ERP system, as well as:
Leading ERP implementation, enhancement, and lifecycle activities on the technical components including planning, configuration, testing, deployment, stabilization, upgrades, end-user support and continuous improvement. Participating as a leader within the ERP implementation team and providing input on ERP planning and strategic initiatives and participating on project teams and championing the corporate mission and values in the seamless implementation of the ERP system. Providing strategic guidance and direction and long-term planning, as well as technical and functional expertise to support the ERP system during implementation and throughout its operational lifecycle. Collaborating with ERP project leads and subject matter experts across Finance, Payroll, People & Talent and Procurement to learn and understand business processes to provide strategic advice on data configuration to ensure efficient data input to deliver integrated solutions. Leading root-cause analyses for transactional errors, data mismatches, or system process failures, and coordinating required solutions with support from internal teams and the vendor. Developing ERP related policies and procedures to ensure system/data integration based on industry standard best practices and approved Town policies.
The preferred candidate holds:
University degree or college diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related discipline. Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in an enterprise systems environment, preferably in a municipal environment, with at least five (5) years in ERP implementation or financial systems management. Demonstrated ability to understand back-end system data structure. Considerable progressive experience supporting, implementing, administering, or maintaining an ERP system in a multi-user organizational environment. Experience with ERP cloud-based deployments. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset.
Closing date is August 20, 2026.
The salary range for this upcoming new and vacant position is $110,019 - $140,415 per annum (Based on a 35-hour week) and the successful candidate will be compensated within this range.
