The Strategy & Transformation team is looking for an Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Specialist (12-month contract) to help our Corridor Maintenance group implement and improve work order management in HxGN EAM. It's a great fit for someone who blends technical EAM know-how with strong stakeholder engagement and a genuine interest in rail operations.

This role is an in‑office position based at our 20 Bay St. location. Our team is highly collaborative, and much of our work benefits from in‑person co‑creation, relationship‑building, and hands‑on partnership with leaders across the organization.

  • Act as a liaison between Corridor Maintenance and external vendors/contractors who perform the work — ensuring vendor workflows, data submissions, and reporting integrate cleanly with EAM processes.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for EAM processes, configuration decisions, standard operating procedures, and end-user training materials.
  • Support data quality, master data, and asset hierarchy management within HxGN EAM.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting from EAM data to support Transport Canada audits, operational decision-making, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, demos, and status updates to management up to and including executive level.
  • Support user acceptance testing, change management, and end-user adoption for EAM enhancements and new releases.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What Skills and Qualifications Do I Need?

  • University degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Management, Statistics, or a related discipline, or a combination of education, training and experience deemed equivalent.
  • Minimum six (6) years’ experience in the implementation of new technology and investigative review in raw data converting same into usable charts with solutions to trending problems. Experience in continuous improvement programs, process management, and graphical presentations.
  • Background in operations and technical field, bringing forward new technology in transportation to improve rail operations, optimization techniques based on system modeling processes, network analysis including critical path method.
  • Analyzing and interpreting the data to optimize processes.
