About the role

Senior Manager, Earnings Excellence The Engagement We’re hiring a Senior Manager–level independent contractor to operate at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Finance and Last-Mile Operations within a leading last-mile marketplace’s contractor earnings ecosystem. You’ll use data, structured analysis and cross-functional influence to identify operational friction, inform roadmap decisions and improve the end-to-end earnings experience for drivers. It’s a senior individual contributor seat with real surface area — translating business objectives into actionable programs, sharpening KPI visibility and driving systemic fixes that reduce defects and improve disbursement accuracy. Translate ops needs into product inputs — Earnings requirements, compliance constraints and defect trends turned into clear engineering work. Lead structured root-cause analysis — Find the upstream system gaps behind recurring driver issues; drive long-term prevention, not reactive fixes. Strengthen data governance & integrity — Partner with Engineering and Data teams on master data quality and consistent earnings inputs across systems. Own the reporting & analytics framework — Visibility into disbursement accuracy, defect trends, operational health and earnings performance. Pull AI and ML into the toolkit — Earnings optimisation, anomaly detection, forecasting and automated defect identification. Automate the friction out — Manual workflows reduced and systemic errors eliminated through platform improvements. Influence roadmap prioritisation — Ground decisions in operational insight, performance metrics and long-term scalability. Establish operating rhythms — Cross-functional cadences that align product, compliance and operations. What you’ll bring 7+ years in BizOps, ProductOps, Program Management or Strategy & Ops — In complex, high-volume environments. Gig economy / contractor marketplace experience — You understand how driver economics and platform dynamics actually work. Strong analytical and systems thinker — You see the system, not just the symptom. Cross-functional leader — You’ve driven outcomes through influence, not org-chart authority. How you’ll know you’re succeeding A year in, success looks like: Operational signal — defect trends, KPIs, root-cause findings — is shaping the product roadmap in measurable ways. Reporting and analytics frameworks for disbursement accuracy and earnings performance are live and being used by the leadership team. At least two manual earnings workflows have been automated or eliminated, with measurable reduction in friction and defect rate. Bonus points Driver / worker earnings platform experience. Fintech or payments background. SQL or strong data fluency. ML/AI initiative exposure. MBA preferred. How we work Four behaviours show up in every project, every team, every conversation. We solve real problems and craft practical solutions — and we take the lead on the journey together. We care enough to be honest — that’swhat helps clients (and each other) move forward. Humble and inclusive — hearing before solving — We may be experienced, but we’re always learning.
