Location: Mississauga, ON Job Details: Full-time/Permanent Salary: $110,000 – $150,000 annually + comprehensive benefits About the Opportunity Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager, Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) to lead utility mapping and subsurface utility engineering projects across Ontario. The successful candidate will oversee utility mapping assignments, conduct field investigations, mentor team members, and support the expansion of utility locating services. Key Responsibilities · Lead project teams to deliver high-quality work on schedule and within budget. · Manage and execute Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) and utility locating assignments for public and private sector clients. · Conduct field investigations and utility mapping activities as required. · Monitor project performance, forecast outcomes, and implement corrective actions when necessary. · Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and client expectations. · Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and service delivery. · Identify and pursue new business opportunities to support continued growth. · Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes. · Resolve project, client, and team issues in a proactive and professional manner. · Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety requirements, applicable legislation, and industry best practices. · Mentor and support project team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance. · Engineering degree from a recognized post-secondary institution. · Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in good standing. · 5–10 years of project management experience within the Utility Mapping or SUE industry in Ontario. · Advanced knowledge of utility record research and interpretation. · Strong understanding of utility locating and field investigation methodologies. · Expert knowledge of ASCE 38-22 Utility Engineering Standards. · Experience processing utility data and preparing technical reports. · Demonstrated business development and client relationship management skills. · Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. · Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. · Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. · Willingness and ability to travel to client sites as needed. · Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol screening in accordance with workplace safety requirements. · Competitive salary: $110,000 – $150,000 annually, based on experience. · Comprehensive health and dental benefits. · Health Spending Account. · RRSP matching program. · Paid vacation and wellness days. · Mental wellness resources and support programs. · Flexible work environment promoting work-life balance. · Professional development and continuing education opportunities. · Paid professional association dues. · Career growth and advancement opportunities.
