Marketing Performance Analyst - Cargo

The Marketing Performance Analyst plays a vital role in supporting the Cargo Marketing team by leveraging data and analytics to inform strategic decision-making and maximize marketing effectiveness. The analyst integrates data into marketing and product strategies to increase revenue, enhance brand and product positioning, and improve customer engagement. This position is responsible for delivering clear, actionable recommendations rooted in data that help advance marketing goals and drive commercial success. The analyst transforms complex marketing and business data into actionable insights that inform creative direction, messaging, audience targeting, and tactical business decisions, ultimately supporting the overall success of the Cargo Marketing team. Responsibilities include monitoring marketing performance, conducting commercial and product analyses, and gathering market and customer insights to support campaign and product development. The role is also instrumental in leveraging CRM data for targeted marketing initiatives, supporting analytics and marketing automation projects, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver on business objectives. Responsibilities: Marketing Performance & Analysis Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance across marketing initiatives, in owned or partner channels Track key performance indicators including revenue contribution, conversion, and engagement Track and report on performance of creative assets across channels (e.g., email, web, paid media); Support testing initiatives (A/B testing) and summarize results Prepare regular reports and dashboards to support ongoing performance tracking and planning Provide data-driven input to support content and campaign optimizations, and to improve campaign effectiveness and ROI Product Performance & Commercial Analysis Support analysis of cargo product performance across markets, routes, and customer segments Monitor revenue, yield, and volume trends; highlight risks and opportunities, working with Product Managers Assist in evaluating product positioning and performance in collaboration with Commercial, Sales, Revenue Management and Network Planning teams Support go-to-market activities and track performance of new or updated products Customer & Market Insights Conduct customer and segment analysis to support targeting and product development Monitor market trends and competitor activity Contribute to the development of insights that inform marketing and product strategies Data-Driven Marketing & CRM Activation Leverage CRM and customer data (e.g., Salesforce) to support targeted, data-driven marketing initiatives and campaign personalization Develop actionable customer segmentation approaches and translate insights into campaign targeting and performance optimization Advanced Analytics & Automation (Emerging Capabilities) Support the introduction of advanced analytics, automation capabilities and Agentic AI to enhance marketing effectiveness and scalability Contribute to the development of more automated, insight-driven decision-making approaches across marketing activities Stakeholder Support & Communication Prepare clear and concise reports, presentations, and summaries for marketing stakeholders Support cross-functional initiatives with data analysis and insights Work collaboratively with Marketing, Product, Sales, CRM & Analytics, Revenue Management and other Commercial and branch teams as needed
University degree in Business Analysis, Marketing Analytics or equivalent 3 - 5 years of relevant experience Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills; results-oriented mindset Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is an asset Familiarity with digital marketing metrics and analytics platforms (e.g. Adobe Analytics) Experience with Salesforce environment (i.e. Account Engagement) an asset Experience in Microsoft PowerPoint for producing stakeholder reports and presentations of findings Ability to work with large datasets and synthesize findings into clear insights Strong communication and presentation skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple, simultaneous priorities Demonstrated punctuality and dependability to support overall team success in a fast-paced environment Experience in global logistics or cargo is considered an asset Conditions of Employment: Candidates must be eligible to work in the country of interest at the time any offer of employment is made and are responsible for obtaining any required work permits, visas, or other authorizations necessary for employment.
