Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Account Director to join our Account Services team. This role is responsible for leading senior client relationships, driving integrated marketing initiatives, and overseeing the successful delivery of campaigns across multiple disciplines. Working closely with Strategy, Creative, Media, Production, and Digital teams, the Account Director will provide strategic leadership, mentor account teams, and ensure client objectives are translated into impactful business results. This role is ideal for a confident relationship builder who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional client experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary senior point of contact for key client stakeholders, building trusted, long-term partnerships. Lead overall client relationship health, ensuring expectations are met or exceeded across all deliverables. Proactively identify and resolve issues, managing risk while maintaining strong client confidence. Lead regular client reporting, presentations, and business reviews, highlighting performance, ROI, and actionable insights. Partner closely with Strategy, Creative, Media, and Production teams to shape integrated campaign strategies aligned to client objectives. Provide clear, inspiring creative briefs that align business goals with bold creative vision. Review and approve creative concepts and deliverables to ensure they meet client expectations, brand standards, and INNOCEAN quality benchmarks. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing account team, fostering clarity, accountability, and growth. Own account financial health, including budgets, scopes, forecasting, and profitability. Proactively identify the client's business needs and work with both the client and various INNOCEAN teams to understand, define, plan, and build effective and innovative solutions that translate to measurable results for the business. Identify opportunities for organic revenue growth. Support an inclusive, people-first environment where diverse perspectives are valued.
Qualifications & Experiences
6–8 years of experience in client service within an advertising or integrated agency environment. 1–3 years of experience in a supervisory or people leadership role. Strong experience managing senior client relationships and complex, multi-disciplinary accounts. Proven ability to lead strategic conversations, presentations, and negotiations. Solid understanding of integrated marketing, campaign development, and agency operations. Luxury category experience considered a strong asset. Explore and leverage emerging AI-powered tools that help optimize workflows and enhance the client experience. Post-secondary education in marketing, advertising, or a related field is an asset.
