What we're building

Growth Fusion (BlueBerry Tech Inc.) is in Richmond, BC. We build practical AI for Canadian small and mid-sized businesses — companies doing $1M to $15M in revenue.

Our platform is called Ken.

Large enterprises spent the last decade building unified data platforms — one place where all their information lives, so software and AI can reason about the whole business. Small and mid-sized companies never got that. Their reality is QuickBooks over here, three spreadsheets over there, a warehouse system that talks to neither, and the most important knowledge living in one person's head.

Ken is that missing layer, built for the businesses the enterprise forgot. One place for a company's data and context — with AI agents on top that do real operational work, because they finally understand the whole business instead of one disconnected corner of it.

Distribution and wholesale is where we're starting. It's where the operational pain is most expensive and most measurable.

Why we need you

We have the technology covered. What we don't have on the team is someone who has actually run a distribution business.

Not just the warehouse — the whole thing. The person who knows that this is a business made or lost on a few points of margin. Who has watched a good customer drift to 75 days and had to decide whether to keep shipping. Who knows the supplier relationship matters as much as the customer one, that the real cost of a bad hire in a 20-person company is enormous, and that half of what holds the business together is a spreadsheet one person maintains and nobody else understands.

That's the judgement we want in the room. The fastest way to build something useless is to build it without it.

What you'd actually do

• A monthly call — react honestly to what we're building and where it's going
• Pressure-test product decisions against commercial and operational reality
• Help us prioritise: which problems genuinely cost an owner money, and which are merely interesting to engineers
• Tell us where we're wrong about how these businesses really work
• Occasional introductions where they make sense — never an obligation

You would not be running client engagements or doing delivery work. You are advising us.

Experience we're looking for

• You've run a distribution or wholesale business — owner, president, general manager, or COO. P&L responsibility, not one function.
• 10+ years in the industry, with real commercial ownership. Food and beverage distribution especially welcome.
• A small-to-mid-size company (roughly $2M–$20M), where the owner still knows every customer by name. Enterprise-scale experience is less relevant here.
• You understand the full engine: buying and supplier terms, pricing and margin, customers and receivables, working capital, people — and yes, the warehouse as part of it
• You've felt what it's like to run a real business on disconnected systems, and know which of those gaps actually cost money
• Direct enough to tell a founder plainly when an idea is wrong

Formal consulting credentials aren't required. Having carried the business is what matters.

• Remote. Canada preferred, BC ideal — much of our early work is here.
• This is not an employment relationship.
