Duties:

The Business Analyst supports the Asset Management Division by ensuring the effective use and continuous improvement of business systems. This role bridges operational needs with digital solutions, enabling compliance and decision-making through master data management, process optimization, training, and reporting. The position plays a key role in the successful implementation and continued support of SAP S/4HANA and the modernization of Manitoba’s Enterprise Resource Planning platform.

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Post-secondary education in business administration, information systems, or relevant fields; or demonstrated experience working in business systems, data management, or enterprise resource planning environments. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting SAP modules, particularly Plant Maintenance, Real Estate, and Project System, in a business context.
  • Experience in training delivery, including developing training materials, conducting workshops, and providing one-on-one support to end users.
  • Experience in project coordination, particularly in initiatives involving business systems, ERP modernization, or digital transformation.
  • Knowledge of master data management principles and practices, with experience ensuring data accuracy and consistency across systems.
  • Proficiency in report development and analysis to support operational requirements, including the use of SAP data and Microsoft tools (Excel, Power BI, SharePoint).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex business processes and recommend effective system-based solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
