Salesforce Business Analyst - FSC, Wealth Management
About the role
Contract: 4 months with a possibility of extension
Typical Day in Role: Partner with Wealth business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements Translate requirements into clear, structured user stories for Salesforce development teams Support testing activities, including functional validation and defect triage Analyze and manipulate Salesforce data using SOQL and Data Loader Collaborate across multiple teams (business, technology, operations) to ensure alignment Support ongoing enhancements and steady‑state applications within Financial Services Cloud Contribute to data‑related tasks, including data loads and data quality checks Ensure solutions align with Wealth Management processes and regulatory expectations
Must-have requirements: 8 years of experience as a business analyst within the Financial Services industry, with a strong preference for Wealth Management exposure, and at least 3 years of experience in Salesforce Financial Services Cloud Demonstrate effective leadership skills, including the ability to assume end-to-end ownership on behalf of the Product Owner during project execution, knowing when to assume responsibility for the related project deliverables, or seeking approval Manage timely and accurate delivery of tasks for assigned projects through all stages of the project life cycle from concept to implementation. E.g., track tasks, map process flows, document requirements/stories, testing, liaise with Business, Development and Vendors, communication plan execution, etc., ensuring that key stakeholders are kept informed of all unresolved issues, other areas of concern and any other deviations from project timelines Hands-on experience with SOQL scripting (including data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting) and ETL and integration tools, such as: Salesforce Data Loader
Nice to have skills: Experience with Salesforce integration tools (MuleSoft, Talend) • At least one active Salesforce certification obtained prior to joining (certifications will be verified), including one or more of the following: Salesforce Certified Administrator Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder Salesforce Certified Developer I Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant Testing experience within Salesforce environments Experience with data migration or ETL concepts
Soft skills: Working knowledge of software delivery methodologies, including release management, change management, and training/support models Strong understanding of the project lifecycle, delivery methodologies (Agile and Waterfall), and expected outputs at each phase Highly analytical and solution-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills and the drive to move initiatives forward A creative, self-starting, and results-oriented mindset, with high motivation and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams Strong verbal communication and business writing skills, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels within a cross-functional environment Demonstrated experience working with a technology product end to end, from discovery and requirements through delivery and implementation
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience At least one active Salesforce certification obtained prior to joining (certifications will be verified), including one or more of the following: o Salesforce Certified Administrator o Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder o Salesforce Certified Developer I o Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant Good working knowledge of MS Office, MS Visio and JIRA/Confluence
