About the role
The Opportunity We are looking for a Functional Analyst specializing in Identity and Access Management (IAM) with strong expertise in SailPoint to support large-scale IAM transformation initiatives. In this role, you will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, security teams, architects, and delivery teams to ensure business requirements are clearly defined, translated, and implemented within IAM solutions. What You’ll Do Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements related to IAM and SailPoint Facilitate workshops with stakeholders across business, security, compliance, operations, and IT Document current-state and future-state IAM processes (access requests, certifications, role management, workflows) Write user stories, functional specifications, acceptance criteria, and business rules Support technical teams in understanding requirements and SailPoint configurations Participate in application onboarding and integration analysis within SailPoint Contribute to access models, roles, entitlements, approval workflows, and governance controls Support functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validation activities Identify gaps, risks, dependencies, and operational impacts Collaborate closely with IAM architects, developers, and application owners Produce functional documentation, user guides, and change management materials What You Bring to the Table Experience as a Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, or IAM Analyst Proven experience working on IAM transformation, migration, or integration projects Strong ability to translate technical concepts into business language and vice versa Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments Strong communication and collaboration skills across multiple teams Core Skills Required Hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ or SailPoint IdentityNow Strong understanding of IAM concepts: identities, accounts, roles, entitlements, approvals, and governance Knowledge of segregation of duties (SoD), certifications, and access lifecycle management Experience writing user stories, functional documentation, and acceptance criteria Strong process mapping and documentation capabilities Our Stack IAM Platforms: SailPoint IdentityIQ / IdentityNow Supporting Tools: Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps IAM Ecosystem (nice to have): Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, CyberArk, IBM Security Verify Why Join Highspring?
