We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative QE Governance and Intake Management Lead to support and enhance Quality Engineering (QE) delivery governance, intake management, capacity planning, and stakeholder engagement. This hybrid role requires attendance at our downtown Toronto office and/or the client office a minimum of two days per week, subject to change based on business needs.

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving intake governance, managing delivery readiness, facilitating stakeholder collaboration, and supporting transformation initiatives. This individual will help evolve the QE organization from a reactive intake approach to a proactive, data-driven, and continuously improving operating model.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Technical Planning and Execution

Support intake management activities, including demand assessment, test estimation coordination, release planning, and capacity evaluation.

Monitor engagement-level risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies through a centralized RAID log.

Ensure delivery readiness by tracking key dependencies, approvals, resource requirements, and timelines.

Connect intake demand with available team capacity, delivery schedules, and business priorities.

Maintain governance artifacts including dashboards, trackers, action logs, capacity reports, and status updates.

Team Coordination and Collaboration

Coordinate with QE teams, delivery managers, technical leads, and business stakeholders to support successful engagement execution.

Proactively follow up on action items, risk mitigation plans, dependency management activities, and outstanding decisions.

Drive accountability and closure across multiple workstreams while managing competing priorities.

Facilitate collaboration between client teams and internal delivery organizations to ensure alignment on objectives and timelines.

Stakeholder Management and Communication

Build and maintain trusted relationships with client stakeholders, QE leadership, delivery managers, and cross-functional teams.

Prepare and deliver executive-level status reports, governance updates, and leadership presentations.

Provide visibility into intake demand, capacity utilization, approval status, risks, issues, and pending decisions.

Escalate delays, blockers, unclear ownership, missing information, and client-side dependencies in a timely and professional manner.

Clearly communicate recommendations, risks, impacts, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders at all levels.

Governance and Continuous Improvement

Support engagement-level governance activities beyond intake coordination.

Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and risks within current intake, estimation, and capacity planning processes.

Recommend and implement process improvements that enhance transparency, predictability, and operational effectiveness.

Contribute to transformation initiatives focused on intake automation, dashboarding, AI-enabled reporting, and improved capacity planning.

Drive innovation by proposing practical solutions that improve QE governance, reporting, and delivery management practices.

Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and operational excellence across the QE organization.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

Experience and Knowledge

Strong understanding of the Quality Engineering (QE) delivery lifecycle, including intake management, test estimation, release planning, and capacity assessment.

Experience working in client-facing delivery, governance, program coordination, or project management roles with multiple stakeholders.

Solid understanding of Agile delivery methodologies, software testing lifecycles, dependency management, and release governance.

Experience maintaining and managing RAID logs, action trackers, governance reports, dashboards, and executive status reporting.

Knowledge of capacity planning, demand management, resource allocation, and delivery forecasting.

Skills and Competencies

Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong working relationships across teams and organizational levels.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.

Ability to professionally challenge unclear requirements, incomplete intake requests, unrealistic timelines, and unidentified dependencies.

Demonstrated ability to independently manage follow-ups, drive accountability, and ensure timely closure of actions and risks.

Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends, assess risks, and recommend practical solutions.

Experience supporting business process improvement, transformation, automation, or continuous improvement initiatives.
