Senior Software Engineer, Salesforce CRM Platforms Team, Brampton, ON In this role, you will work with a Salesforce team that is collaborative and passionate about designing and building scalable Salesforce platforms and integrations to drive exciting transformation initiatives making a business impact, As a Senior Software Engineer you will be we working on various projects that challenge us to think creatively on implementing solutions and while mentoring Junior developers in solving problems. What you will do: Design, develop, and enhance scalable Salesforce solutions including custom applications, integrations, automations, and AI-driven capabilities to support evolving business needs and digital transformation initiatives. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders and QA to deliver high-quality Salesforce solutions using agile development and CI/CD best practices. Lead technical design discussions, implement solutions, perform code reviews, and mentor junior developers while promoting Salesforce engineering standards, DevOps processes, and modern development practices. Support Salesforce DevOps activities including source control management, automated deployments, release management, environment strategy, and troubleshooting using tools such as Copado, Git-based workflows, and CI/CD pipelines. Key focuses on Salesforce security architecture and governance including role hierarchy, sharing rules, profiles, permission sets, data protection, and secure integration practices. Commitment to achieving Operational Team KPIs while adhering to Loblaw's Operational Governance standards. What you should bring: Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce platform development including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Component, Flows, APIs, integrations, Omni Studio and Salesforce best practices. Solid understanding of Salesforce DevOps and CI/CD processes, including experience with Git-based version control, automated deployments, release management, and tools such as Copado or similar DevOps platforms. Experience working with modern AI-powered development and productivity tools to improve engineering efficiency, automation, solution design, and overall delivery quality. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills and experience in platform security and Data Security. Effective communication skills and Experience working in agile teams, leading technical discussions, mentoring team members, and partnering effectively with business and technology teams.
