The Opportunity

Highspring is seeking a Functional Analyst to join a Digital Channels delivery team supporting large-scale web and mobile initiatives within a fast-paced Agile environment. In this role, you will act as a functional analysis specialist, serving as a key bridge between business stakeholders, Product Owners, architects, quality teams, and delivery squads. You will help shape innovative digital solutions by translating business needs into clear functional requirements while ensuring alignment with customer experience objectives and operational realities.

What You'll Do

Functional Analysis & Documentation

Understand business strategies, challenges, and operational realities to guide delivery teams toward effective digital solutions. Produce and maintain functional and technical documentation required for successful product delivery. Create functional specifications, technical specifications, use cases, business rules, and validation rules. Develop specifications for interfaces, APIs, screens, reports, files, and data processes. Document data flows, data schemas, processing logic, exceptions, and system messages. Contribute to application monitoring and logging requirements. Support the creation, maintenance, and evolution of technical documentation produced by architects and designers. Participate in analytics requirements gathering and KPI documentation.

Product Delivery & Backlog Support

Work closely with Product Owners and delivery teams to define and clarify acceptance criteria. Ensure user stories are complete and ready prior to sprint execution. Contribute to backlog refinement and support the management of: Enablers Bugs Defects Technical debt remediation Spikes Tasks Challenge functional, UX, and content assumptions to ensure customer needs are properly addressed. Perform impact analysis for new features, product enhancements, and transformation initiatives.

Quality & Operational Readiness

Act as a key contributor to overall product quality. Collaborate with quality teams on test strategy and test case definition. Ensure delivery readiness by validating the availability of required inputs such as architecture, content, UI, and analysis. Facilitate communication between business and technical teams when constraints affect delivery objectives. Participate in operational readiness activities, including: Stability Monitoring Logging Accessibility Automation Documentation Security Quality assurance Post-production support Identify and escalate blockers, risks, and issues proactively.

Communication & Collaboration

Maintain clear, concise, and up-to-date communication with delivery pods and stakeholder groups. Ensure effective information sharing across teams. Support delivery tracking activities and project reporting. Contribute to team alignment around priorities, objectives, and delivery commitments. Maintain project documentation and collaboration tools, including JIRA, Confluence, and API repositories.

What You Bring to the Table

Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent professional experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience in functional analysis supporting large-scale web and mobile digital initiatives. Experience delivering solutions in Agile environments using Scrum and/or SAFe frameworks. Strong understanding of digital ecosystems and customer-facing platforms. Demonstrated experience performing functional, technical, and application analysis within complex organizations. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities. Results-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to quality and delivery timelines.

Analyse fonctionnelle et documentation

Comprendre la stratégie, les enjeux et la réalité opérationnelle des secteurs d'affaires afin d'orienter efficacement les équipes technologiques. Produire et maintenir la documentation fonctionnelle et technique requise. Rédiger les spécifications fonctionnelles, les spécifications techniques, les cas d'utilisation, les règles d'affaires et les règles de validation. Produire les spécifications relatives aux interfaces, API, écrans, rapports, fichiers et traitements de données. Documenter les flux de données, les schémas de données, les exceptions et les messages système. Participer à la définition des mécanismes de surveillance et de journalisation applicative. Contribuer à la création et à l'évolution de la documentation produite par les architectes et concepteurs. Participer à l'analyse des besoins analytiques et à la documentation des indicateurs de performance (KPI).

Soutien à la livraison et au backlog

Collaborer avec les Product Owners et les équipes de livraison afin de définir et enrichir les critères d'acceptation. S'assurer que les histoires utilisateur sont prêtes avant le début des sprints. Participer au raffinement du backlog et à la gestion des éléments suivants : Enablers Bogues Défauts Corrections de dette technique Spikes Tâches Valider et remettre en question les approches fonctionnelles, UX et de contenu afin d'assurer une expérience client optimale. Réaliser les analyses d'impact liées aux nouvelles fonctionnalités et aux initiatives de transformation.

Qualité et mise en production

Agir comme contributeur clé à la qualité des produits livrés. Collaborer avec les équipes qualité dans la définition des stratégies et cas de tests. Valider la préparation des initiatives avant leur prise en charge par l'équipe de livraison. Faire le lien entre les équipes d'affaires et les équipes techniques lorsque des contraintes influencent les besoins. Participer à l'opérationnalisation des solutions livrées, notamment en matière de : Stabilité Surveillance Journalisation Accessibilité Automatisation Documentation Sécurité Assurance qualité Soutien postproduction Identifier et escalader rapidement les risques, enjeux et blocages.

Communication et collaboration

Maintenir une communication claire, concise et à jour avec les équipes de livraison et les partenaires. Assurer une circulation efficace de l'information. Participer aux activités de suivi de livraison et de reddition de comptes. Favoriser l'alignement des équipes sur les objectifs et priorités.
